Among the purchase prices of industrial producers, chemical raw material prices increased by 7.3%, fuel and power prices increased by 6.3%, textile raw material prices increased by 1.3%, black metal material prices increased by 0.6%, and agricultural and sideline product prices increased by 0.3%.

In April 2026, the national industrial producer factory gate prices increased by 2.8% year-on-year and 1.7% month-on-month. The purchase prices of industrial producers rose by 3.5% year-on-year and 2.1% month-on-month. From January to April, the average, the factory gate prices of industrial producers increased by 0.2% compared to the same period last year, and the purchase prices of industrial producers increased by 0.5%.

1. Year-on-Year Changes in Industrial Producer Prices

In April, among the industrial producer factory gate prices, the prices of production materials increased by 3.8%, affecting the overall level of industrial producer factory gate prices by about 2.98 percentage points. Among these, extraction industry prices increased by 10.6%, raw material industry prices increased by 7.1%, and processing industry prices increased by 1.5%. The prices of living materials decreased by 1.0%, affecting the overall level of industrial producer factory gate prices by about 0.23 percentage points. Among these, food prices decreased by 1.9%, clothing and general daily necessities prices decreased by 1.1% each, and durable consumer goods prices decreased by 0.3%.
